Rodborough School is seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic part time Teacher of Business Studies to join our Business Studies and Computing team working 0.6fte. This post may also be suitable for teachers new to teaching.

Rodborough is a successful, popular, oversubscribed 11-16 school near Godalming, Surrey. It has an excellent reputation for providing a broad and rounded education whilst challenging all students to achieve their best. At Rodborough we are committed to the development of our teachers through an extensive programme of internal CPD. Business Studies is a very popular GCSE option at Rodborough, being only taught in Years 10 and 11. The subject sits alongside Computer Science and is well resourced, teaching in dedicated well-appointed ICT suites.

The successful candidate will have a passion to teach Business Studies, but will also recognise that working collaboratively and supporting the extra-curricular provision is essential when it comes to ensuring our students have the best possible experience during their time with us.

Teach Science at Rodborough Pack Information Pack 2018

LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT - Wednesday 10th January 2018

 36hrs/week (8.30am to 3.25pm) Term time only (39 weeks)

Rodborough is seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work with, and support, our teachers and students in lessons. The post is for 36 hours per week, 8.30am to 3.25pm, term time only (39 weeks p.a.).

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a positive approach. A high standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills are also essential for this post, as is the enthusiasm to raise the achievement of students. Training will be provided.

The annual salary range for these hours on grade S4/5 is £14,268 to £18,580 p.a. (£16,737 to £21,796 p.a. FTE) plus benefits, depending on qualifications and experience.

LETTINGS / MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT - Wednesday 10th January 2018

20hrs/week (6pm to 10pm) Term Time only (39 weeks)

Rodborough is seeking a self-motivated and practical individual to facilitate our lettings provision. This position will provide point of contact, opening and locking up buildings and setting up rooms as required. The role will involve manual working including moving of furniture and light maintenance duties.

The post is for 20 hours per week, 6pm to 10pm, term time only (39 weeks p.a.) with potential additional hours over weekends as required. Primarily this is a term time position plus some flexible additional time to cover any lettings during school holidays. Job share arrangements will also be considered.

The annual salary range for these hours on grade S4/5 is £7,926 to £10,322 p.a. (FTE £16,737 to £21,796 p.a.) plus benefits, depending on experience.
